Within the criminal policy of the Vietnamese State, the institution of criminal record expungement constitutes a clear manifestation of the principles of humanitarianism, rehabilitation, and recidivism prevention. The most significant legal consequence of this institution is that a person whose criminal record has been expunged is deemed not to have been convicted, thereby restoring their ordinary legal status in social relations. Accordingly, comprehensive research on the institution of criminal record expungement, both in theory and in practice, is necessary in order to contribute to the further development and refinement of Vietnamese criminal law.

On the mornings of November 4 and November 11, at two schools — Minh Quang Secondary School (Ba Vi Commune, Hanoi) and Quynh Mai Secondary School (Quynh Mai Ward, Hanoi) — Lawyer Phan Thi Chinh and office staff member Nguyen Quynh Chi participated in legal education and legal aid activities by organizing a “mock trial” on the topic of preventing cybercrime.

To celebrate Vietnam Law Day (November 9) – the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam – on the morning of November 7, 2025, the HHM Vietnam Law Firm and HanhNguyen Law Firm cooperated with May Secondary and High School to organize a seminar on legal dissemination and education for more than 300 students of the school.
