To celebrate Vietnam Law Day (November 9) – the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam – on the morning of November 7, 2025, the HHM Vietnam Law Firm and HanhNguyen Law Firm cooperated with May Secondary and High School to organize a seminar on legal dissemination and education for more than 300 students of the school.

Recognizing the importance of the issue, on November 7, 2025, May Secondary and High School cooperated with lawyers from HHM Vietnam Law Firm and Hanh Nguyen Law Firm, under the Hanoi Bar Association, to organize a seminar titled “Cyber Safety and Prevention of School Violence”. The program aimed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect themselves in the online environment, while raising awareness of building a friendly, healthy, and safe school community.

The program was attended by lawyers including Mr. Hoang Minh Hien – Vice Chairman of the Reward and Discipline Council, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh – Head of Hanh Nguyen Law Firm, and Ms. Phan Thi Chinh – HHM Vietnam Law Firm.

Representing the school, the seminar was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Thinh Hung – Chairman of the School Council, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Cau – Vice Principal, Ms. Mai Thi Thuy Dung – Assistant to the School Council, along with teachers and more than 300 students.

CONTENT OF THE LEGAL EDUCATION SEMINAR

The main content of the program was divided into two important topics.

In the first topic, Lawyer Hoang Minh Hien presented “Safe Internet Use”, providing students with basic knowledge about cybersecurity, how to identify information violations, protect their accounts, and behave properly online. The lawyer also emphasized that each student should stay alert, know how to filter information, and take responsibility for their online actions.

In the second topic, Lawyer Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh presented “Prevention of School Violence”, focusing on analyzing common forms of violence today – from physical acts to psychological bullying and cyberbullying. Lawyer Hanh encouraged students to build solidarity, mutual respect, and empathy. She emphasized: “A safe school is not only a place without violence, but also a place where every student feels loved and heard.”

The interactive Q&A session between lawyers and students was lively and engaging. Students confidently asked many practical questions such as: “What should I do if I am bullied online?”, “Will I be punished for sharing false information?”, and “How can I effectively protect my personal account?”. The lawyers provided detailed answers, helping students better understand their rights, duties, and responsibilities in the online environment.

Lawyer Hoang Minh Hien concluded: “Cyber safety is not only a skill, but also a culture of respectful behavior among young people in the digital age.”

The seminar ended in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving a deep impression on teachers and students.

The school administration highly appreciated the program’s significance, considering it a long-term educational activity that contributes to promoting respect for the law and building a healthy culture of behavior in schools.
